Spending Christmas at this hotel was amazing! The rooms were beautiful and spacious, and the breakfast was delicious with a variety of options to choose from. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from all of the main attractions. What I enjoyed most was the cozy fireplace in the lounge area where we spent many evenings playing board games and drinking hot cocoa.
I did have a few negative experiences during my stay. the Wi-Fi was not reliable and often disconnected.

Beautifully refurbished ottoman building, the owners are very nice and helpful. Safranbolu itself is an open air museum but this hotel with it`s wonderful garden is like a paradise within. Highly recommended to anybody.

Lovely staff, couldn't have been more helpful. Really nice, spacious room in a wondefully restored Ottoman mansion. I only stayed for two nights but would have loved to spend another night! I can imagine it will be lovely to sit outside in the gardens during the Summer.
The only thing I missed was maybe something sweet at breakfast... but this wouldn't be traditionally Turkish anyway ... so I can understand why breakfast is more savoury.

All very nice indeed. The manager was a most accommodating gentleman. Style and character of the facilities were all top class.

Very pleasant hotel in a 200 year old Ottoman house. this is like staying in a living museum. Safranbolu is nothing less than an open air museum, full of charm and with that original Turkish style, yet unspoilt by mass tourism.

Fabulous renovation of old Ottoman house. Nice views over the town. Opera playing in the garden. Excellent facilities. Gracious host. What's not to like?

Most stylish and welcoming boutique hotel that you can imagine in an sensitive and gorgeous traditional Ottoman house-hotel. Fantastic setting in the splendid UNESCO Heritage centre of Safranbolu with 2 incredibly helpful and knowledgeable owners. Can't wait to return in a few years to see the new house-hotel that is currently under renovation. In summary, loved it all!!

Conveniently situated in the midst of everything, we found it easy to get everywhere we needed to go, including the library and the local restaurants. the room was nice and spacious, and the bathroom was clean and well-stocked with amenities. Breakfast was lovely, with a variety of freshly prepared items. the garden was particularly beautiful, with a lot of greenery and flowers to enjoy.
The only concern we had was the WiFi connection, which was unreliable at times.

It was one of the most beautiful hotels i have ever stayed in ... beauty surrounds the place and it was great being the midst of history ... the hotel has an amazing little garden where one can sit for hours reading and enjoying the views ... the breakfast is outstanding ... and there is a car park just outside the hotel ... the rooms are so beautiful and bathrooms and very modern and spotless
lack of service ... or may i say no service at all ...extremely expensive laundry prices ... and they kind of ruined my clothes

This hotel was a restored Ottoman house. It was beautifully presented with modern elements but still maintaining the rustic feel of the original house. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. The owners have definitely added a touch of class at very reasonable prices. We would stay at this hotel again and I wish we could transplant it to Melbourne.
Everything was wonderful

I had an incredible stay at this charming hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. The hotel's location was peaceful and serene, tucked away from the noise and crowds of the city center. I particularly enjoyed spending time relaxing in the beautiful garden, sipping a glass of wine and reading a book. The room was also spotless and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay.
Nothing, all aspects of my stay at this hotel were exceptional.

The whole experience. The service and attention from the owners/staff was excellent. The renovations by the architech/owner were respected the heritage of the former ottoman house, while highlighting the natural beauty of the grounds. The room was perfect for a relaxing getaway

very helpful and friendly staff - I arrived very early after an allnight bus ride and they offered me tea and, when i fell asleep in the garden, also offered me a hotel room even though I was hours too early to check in.
